Corey and Helen have been married since 2005 and are homeschooling parents of their seven children. Corey began his faith journey in middle school when his single-mother married an ordained pastor in 1997. Corey was baptized in middle school and his family began observing Torah including Shabbat, Biblical Feast Days, eating Biblically-clean food, and studying the entire Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. It was during these formative years that Corey developed an intense love of God’s Word and learned the importance of studying the Bible in context from his stepdad.
At age 17, Corey had a transformative experience and fully dedicated his life to serving YHWH. By the time Corey was 18, he started studying Biblical Hebrew and was the primary teacher of the adult’s Torah Class each Shabbat at their congregation and studying to become the assistant pastor of the congregation. With the congregation moving out of Colorado, Corey never became assistant pastor so he and Helen spent the next 20 years raising their growing family while attending various local Messianic congregations and home fellowships in the Denver Metro area.
On a professional level, Corey founded The 508 Company in 2022 and has helped hundreds of men and women of faith across the country start their churches and ministries. In 2020, Corey and Helen founded one of the largest privately-funded faith-based homeschool music, arts, and enrichment programs in Colorado serving over 60 families and more than 150 students every year.
