In Isaiah 61:1, the Masoretic text reads, “…release to those who are bound”, however, both the Septuagint (Septuagint) and Dead Sea Scrolls from 250 B.C. and earlier read, “…recovery of sight to the blind,” and matches Luke’s quotation of this verse in Luke 4:18.
