Wayiqra (Leviticus) 6:12 – 7:38 (6:5 – 7:38)

6:12 The fire on the altar will be kept burning on it, it will not go out; and the priest will burn wood on it every morning. He will lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and will burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. 13 Fire will be kept burning on the altar continually; it will not go out. 14 This is the Torah of the grain offering: the sons of Aaron will bring it before YHWH, before the altar. 15 He will take from there his handful of the fine flour of the grain offering, and of its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the grain offering, and will burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma, as its memorial portion, to YHWH. 16 That which is left of it Aaron and his sons will eat. It will be eaten without leaven in a holy place. They will eat it in the court of the Appointed Tent. 17 It will not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their portion of my offerings made by fire. It is most holy, as are the sin offering and the trespass offering. 18 Every male among the sons of Aaron will eat of it, as their portion forever throughout your generations, from the offerings of YHWH made by fire. Whoever touches them will be holy.’ ” 19 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 20 “This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they will bring to YHWH in the day when he is anointed: one tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half of it in the evening. 21 It will be made with oil in a griddle. When it is soaked, you will bring it in. You will bring the grain offering in baked pieces for a pleasant aroma to YHWH. 22 The anointed priest that will be in his place from among his sons will do it. By a statute forever, it will be wholly burned to YHWH. 23 Every grain offering of a priest will be wholly burned. It will not be eaten.” 24 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 25 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is the Torah of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is killed, the sin offering will be killed before YHWH. It is most holy. 26 The priest the one bearing the sin will eat it. It will be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the Appointed Tent. 27 Whatever will touch its flesh will be holy. When there is any of its blood sprinkled on a garment, you will wash that on which it was sprinkled in a holy place. 28 But the vessel of clay in which it is boiled will be broken; and if it is boiled in a bronze vessel, it will be scoured, and rinsed in water. 29 Every male among the priests will eat of it. It is most holy. 30 No sin offering, of which any of the blood is brought into the Appointed Tent to make atonement in the Holy Place, will be eaten. It will be burned with fire.

7:1 This is the Torah of the trespass offering: It is most holy. 2 In the place where they kill the burnt offering, he will kill the trespass offering; and its blood he will sprinkle around on the altar. 3 He will bring all of its fat: the fat tail, and the fat that covers the innards, 4 and he will take away the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the hips, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys; 5 and the priest will burn them on the altar for an offering made by fire to YHWH: it is a trespass offering. 6 Every male among the priests may eat of it. It will be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy. 7 As is the sin offering, so is the trespass offering; there is one Torah for them. The priest who makes atonement with them will have it. 8 The priest who brings any man’s burnt offering will have for himself the skin of the burnt offering which he has offered. 9 Every grain offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is prepared in the pan and on the griddle, will be the priest’s who brings it. 10 Every grain offering, mixed with oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aaron, one as well as another. 11 This is the Torah of the slaughter of peace offerings, which one will bring to YHWH: 12 If he brings it for a thanksgiving, then he will bring with the slaughter of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mixed with oil. 13 He will bring his offering with the slaughter of his peace offerings for thanksgiving with cakes of leavened bread. 14 Of it he will bring one of the whole offering for a heave offering to YHWH. It will be the priest’s who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings. 15 The flesh of the slaughter of his peace offerings for thanksgiving will be eaten on the day of his offering. He will not leave any of it until the morning. 16 But if the slaughter of his offering is a vow, or a freewill offering, it will be eaten on the day that he brings his slaughter. On the next day what remains of it will be eaten, 17 but what remains of the flesh of the slaughter on the third day will be burned with fire. 18 If any of the flesh of the slaughter of his peace offerings is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted, and it will not be credited to him who brings it. It will be abominable, and the soul who eats any of it will bear his iniquity. 19 The flesh that touches any unclean thing will not be eaten. It will be burned with fire. As for the flesh, everyone who is clean may eat it; 20 but the soul who eats of the flesh of the slaughter of peace offerings that belongs to YHWH, having his uncleanness on him, that soul will be cut off from his people. 21 When anyone touches any unclean thing, the uncleanness of man, or an unclean animal, or any unclean detestable thing, and eats some of the flesh of the slaughter of peace offerings which belong to YHWH, that soul will be cut off from his people.’ ” 22 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘You will eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat. 24 The fat of that which dies of itself, and the fat of that which is torn of animals, may be used for any other service, but you will in no way eat of it. 25 For whoever eats the fat of the animal which they bring as an offering to YHWH, even the soul who eats it will be cut off from his people. 26 You will not eat any blood, whether it is of bird or of animal, in any of your dwellings. 27 Whoever it is who eats any blood, that soul will be cut off from his people.’ ” 28 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 29 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘He who brings the slaughter of his peace offerings to YHWH will bring his offering to YHWH out of the slaughter of his peace offerings. 30 With his own hands he will bring the offerings of YHWH made by fire. He will bring the fat with the breast, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before YHWH. 31 The priest will burn the fat on the altar, but the breast will be Aaron’s and his sons’. 32 The right thigh you will give to the priest for a heave offering out of the slaughters of your peace offerings. 33 He among the sons of Aaron who brings the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, will have the right thigh for a portion. 34 For the waved breast and the heaved thigh I have taken from the sons of Israel out of the slaughters of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their portion forever from the sons of Israel.’ ” 35 This is the anointing of Aaron and the anointing of his sons from the offerings of YHWH made by fire, in the day when he brought them near to be adorned for YHWH; 36 which YHWH commanded to be given them of the sons of Israel, in the day that he anointed them. It is their portion forever throughout their generations. 37 This is the Torah of the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the trespass offering, the installations, and the slaughter of peace offerings 38 which YHWH commanded Moses in Mount Sinai in the day that he commanded the sons of Israel to bring their offerings to YHWH, in the wilderness of Sinai.

Malachi 3:4-12

3:4 Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasant to YHWH as in the days of old and as in ancient years. 5 I will come near to you to judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me,” says YHWH of Armies. 6 “For I, YHWH, don’t change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed. 7 From the days of your fathers you have turned away from my judgments and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says YHWH of Armies. “But you say, ‘How will we return?’ 8 Will a man rob Elohim? Yet you rob me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with the curse; for you rob me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says YHWH of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of the heavens, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be enough room for. 11 I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he will not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither will your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field,” says YHWH of Armies. 12 “All nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says YHWH of Armies.

Hebrews 13:8-16

13:8 Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited. 10 We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp. 12 Therefore Yeshua also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate. 13 Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach. 14 For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come. 15 Through him, then, let’s offer up a slaughter of praise to Elohim continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name. 16 But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such slaughters Elohim is well pleased.

Sirach, or Wisdom of Sirach, and also known as the Book of Ecclesiasticus (abbreviated Ecclus.) or Ben Sira, is a work of ethical teachings, from approximately 200 to 175 B.C., written by the Jewish scribe Ben Sira of Jerusalem, on the inspiration of his father Joshua son of Sirach, sometimes called Jesus son of Sirach or Yeshua ben Eliezer ben Sira. The Sirach was almost completely uncovered in Hebrew in the Dead Sea Scrolls, at Masada, and the Cairo Geniza. The multiplicity of manuscript fragments uncovered in the Cairo Genizah evidence its authoritative status among Egyptian Jewry until the Middle Ages. Quotes from Sirach can be found in Rabbinic literature in multiple places  including the Talmud in Bava Kamma 92b:13 and Hagigah 13a:2. Additionally, the Gospels and other Apostolic Scriptures quote from the Book of Sirach including the Song of Miriam in Luke 1:52 (cf. Sirach 10:14); the description of the seed in Mark 4:5, 16–17 (cf. Sirach 40:15); the statement by Yeshua in Matthew 7:16,20 (cf. Sirach 27:6); and Ya’aqov (James) 1:19 (cf. Sirach 5:11).

Sirach 34:1-26

34:1 Vain and false hopes are for a man void of understanding; And dreams give wings to fools. 2 As one that catches at a shadow, and follows after the wind, So is he that sets his mind on dreams. 3 The vision of dreams is as this thing against that, The likeness of a face near a face. 4 Of an unclean thing what will be cleansed? And of that which is false what will be true? 5 Divinations, and soothsayings, and dreams, are vain: And the heart fancies, as a woman’s in travail. 6 If they be not sent from the Most High in your inspection, Give not your heart to them. 7 For dreams have led many astray: And they have failed by putting their hope in them. 8 Without lying will the law be accomplished; And wisdom is perfection to a faithful mouth. 9 A well-instructed man knows many things; And he that has much experience will declare understanding. 10 He that has no experience knows few things: But he that has wandered will increase his skill. 11 In my wandering I have seen many things; And more than my words is my understanding. 12 Ofttimes was I in danger even to death; And I was preserved because of these things. 13 The spirit of those that fear the Lord will live; For their hope is upon him that saves them. 14 Whoso fears the Lord will not be afraid, and will not play the coward; For he is his hope. 15 Blessed is the soul of him that fears the Lord: To whom does he give heed? and who is his stay? 16 The eyes of the Lord are upon those who love him, A mighty protection and strong stay, A cover from the hot blast, and a cover from the noonday, A guard from stumbling, and a help from falling. 17 He raises up the soul, and enlightens the eyes: He gives healing, life, and blessing. 18 He that slaughters of a thing wrongfully gotten, his offering is made in mockery; And the mockeries of wicked men are not well-pleasing. 19 The Most High has no pleasure in the offerings of the impious; Neither is he pacified for sins by the multitude of slaughters. 20 As one that kills the son before his father’s eyes Is he that brings a slaughter from the goods of the poor. 21 The bread of the needy is the life of the poor: He that deprives him thereof is a man of blood. 22 As one that slays his neighbor is he that takes away his living; And as a shedder of blood is he that deprives a hireling of his hire. 23 One building, and another pulling down, What profit have they had but toil? 24 One praying, and another cursing, Whose voice will the Lord listen to? 25 He that washes himself after touching a dead body, and touches it again, What profit has he in his washing? 26 Even so a man fasting for his sins, And going again, and doing the same; Who will listen to his prayer? And what profit has he in his humiliation?

Hosea 4:1-19 (T)

4:1 Hear the word of YHWH, you sons of Israel, for YHWH has a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “Indeed there is no truth, nor goodness, nor knowledge of Elohim in the land. 2 There is cursing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break boundaries, and bloodshed causes bloodshed. 3 Therefore the land will mourn, and everyone who dwells in it will waste away, with all living things in her, even the animals of the field and the birds of the heavens; yes, the fish of the sea also die. 4 “Yet let no man bring a charge, neither let any man accuse; for your people are like those who bring charges against a priest. 5 You will stumble in the day, and the prophet will also stumble with you in the night; and I will destroy your mother. 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you may be no priest to me. Because you have forgotten your Elohim’s Torah, I will also forget your sons. 7 As they were multiplied, so they sinned against me. I will change their glory into shame. 8 They feed on the sin of my people, and set their heart on their iniquity. 9 It will be like people, like priest; and I will punish them for their ways, and will repay them for their deeds. 10 They will eat, and not have enough. They will whore, and will not increase; because they have abandoned listening to YHWH. 11 Prostitution, wine, and new wine take away understanding. 12 My people consult with their wooden idol, and answer to a stick of wood. Indeed the spirit of prostitution has led them astray, and they have been unfaithful to their Elohim. 13 They slaughter on the tops of the mountains, and burn incense on the hills, under oaks, poplars, and terebinths, because its shade is good. Therefore your daughters whore, and your brides commit adultery. 14 I will not punish your daughters when they whore, nor your brides when they commit adultery; because the men consort with whores, and they slaughter with the shrine whores; so the people without understanding will come to ruin. 15 “Though you, Israel, whore, yet don’t let Judah offend; and don’t come to Gilgal, neither go up to Beth Aven, nor swear, ‘As YHWH lives.’ 16 For Israel has behaved extremely stubbornly, like a stubborn heifer. Then how will YHWH feed them like a lamb in a meadow? 17 Ephraim is joined to idols. Leave him alone! 18 Their drink has become sour. They whore continually. Her rulers dearly love their shameful way. 19 The wind has wrapped her up in its wings; and they will be disappointed because of their slaughters.

Leviticus 10:16-20 (T)

10:16 Moses diligently inquired about the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burned. He was angry with Eleazar and with Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying, 17 “Why haven’t you eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is most holy, and he has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before YHWH? 18 Behold, its blood was not brought into the inner part of the sanctuary. You certainly should have eaten it in the sanctuary, as I commanded.” 19 Aaron spoke to Moses, “Behold, today they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before YHWH; and such things as these have happened to me. If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been pleasing in the sight of YHWH?” 20 When Moses heard that, it was pleasing in his sight.

1 Corinthians 9:8-14; 1 Corinthians 10:14-22 (T)

1 Corinthians 9:8 Do I speak these things according to the ways of men? Or doesn’t the Torah also say the same thing? 9 For it is written in the Torah of Moses, “You will not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” (cf. Deuteronomy 25:4) Is it for the oxen that God cares, 10 or does he say it assuredly for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should partake of his hope. 11 If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your fleshly things? 12 If others partake of this right over you, don’t we yet more? Nevertheless we didn’t use this right, but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the Good News of Messiah. 13 Don’t you know that those who serve around sacred things eat from the things of the temple, and those who wait on the altar have their portion with the altar? 14 Even so the Lord ordained that those who proclaim the Good News should live from the Good News.

1 Corinthians 10:14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say. 16 The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Messiah? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Messiah? 17 Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread. 18 Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the slaughters participate in the altar? 19 What am I saying then? That a thing slaughtered to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? 20 But I say that the things which the Gentiles slaughter, they slaughter to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons. 21 You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons. 22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

Leviticus 15:1-33 (T)

15:1 YHWH spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and tell them, ‘When any man has a discharge from his body, because of his discharge he is unclean. 3 This will be his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body has stopped from his discharge, it is his uncleanness. 4 Every bed on which he who has the discharge lies will be unclean; and everything he sits on will be unclean. 5 Whoever touches his bed will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 6 He who sits on anything on which the man who has the discharge sat will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 7 He who touches the body of him who has the discharge will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 8 If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 9 Whatever saddle he who has the discharge rides on will be unclean. 10 Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until the evening. He who carries those things will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 11 Whomever he who has the discharge touches, without having rinsed his hands in water, he will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 12 The vessel of clay, which he who has the discharge touches, will be broken; and every vessel of wood will be rinsed in water. 13 When he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he will count to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he will bathe his flesh in living water, and will be clean. 14 On the eighth day he will take two turtledoves, or two sons of a dove, and come before YHWH to the door of the Appointed Tent, and give them to the priest. 15 The priest will offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. The priest will make atonement for him before YHWH for his discharge. 16 If any man has an emission of semen, then he will bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening. 17 Every garment and every skin which the semen is on will be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening. 18 If a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, they will both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the evening. 19 If a woman has a discharge, and her discharge in her flesh is blood, she will be in her impurity seven days. Whoever touches her will be unclean until the evening. 20 Everything that she lies on in her impurity will be unclean. Everything also that she sits on will be unclean. 21 Whoever touches her bed will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 22 Whoever touches anything that she sits on will wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 23 If it is on the bed, or on anything she sits on, when he touches it, he will be unclean until the evening. 24 If any man lies with her, and her monthly flow is on him, he will be unclean seven days; and every bed he lies on will be unclean. 25 If a woman has a discharge of her blood many days not in the time of her seperation, or if she has a discharge beyond the time of her seperation, all the days of the discharge of her uncleanness will be as in the days of her seperation. She is unclean. 26 Every bed she lies on all the days of her discharge will be to her as the bed of her seperation. Everything she sits on will be unclean, as the uncleanness of her seperation. 27 Whoever touches these things will be unclean, and will wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 28 But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she will count to herself seven days, and after that she will be clean. 29 On the eighth day she will take two turtledoves, or two sons of a dove, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the Appointed Tent. 30 The priest will offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest will make atonement for her before YHWH for the uncleanness of her discharge. 31 Thus you will separate the sons of Israel from their uncleanness, so they will not die in their uncleanness when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.’ ” 32 This is the Torah of him who has a discharge, and of him who has an emission of semen, so that he is unclean by it; 33 and of her who is sick [hemorrhaging](LXX) in her separation, and of a man or woman who has a discharge, and of him who lies with her who is unclean.

Psalms 107:1-22

107:1 Give thanks to YHWH, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever. 2 Let the redeemed by YHWH say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary, 3 and gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. 4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in. 5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6 Then they cried to YHWH in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. 7 He led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in. 8 Let them praise YHWH for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the sons of men! 9 For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good. 10 Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron, 11 because they rebelled against the words of Elohim, and condemned the counsel of the Most High. 12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was no one to help. 13 Then they cried to YHWH in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. 14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke away their chains. 15 Let them praise YHWH for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the sons of men! 16 For he has broken the gates of bronze, and cut through bars of iron. 17 Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities. 18 Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death. 19 Then they cry to YHWH in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses. 20 He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves. 21 Let them praise YHWH for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the sons of men! 22 Let them offer the slaughters of thanksgiving, and declare his deeds with singing.

Psalms 116:1-19 (T)

116:1 I love YHWH, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy. 2 Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. 3 The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow. 4 Then I called on the name of YHWH: “YHWH, I beg you, deliver my soul.” 5 YHWH is gracious and righteous. Yes, our Elohim is merciful. 6 YHWH preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me. 7 Return to your rest, my soul, for YHWH has dealt bountifully with you. 8 For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. 9 I will walk before YHWH in the land of the living. 10 I believed, therefore I said, “I was greatly afflicted.” 11 I said in my haste, “All people are liars.” 12 What will I give to YHWH for all his benefits toward me? 13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the name of YHWH. 14 I will pay my vows to YHWH, yes, in the face of all his people. 15 Precious in the sight of YHWH is the death of his saints. 16 YHWH, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant girl. You have freed me from my chains. 17 I will offer to you the slaughter of thanksgiving, and will call on the name of YHWH. 18 I will pay my vows to YHWH, yes, in the face of all his people, 19 in the courts of the house of YHWH, in the middle of you, Jerusalem. Halleluyah!

Genesis 9:1-6; Leviticus 7:22-27; Leviticus 17:10-14; Ezekiel 33:23-26 (T)

Genesis 9:1-6 Elohim blessed Noaḥ and his sons, and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the land. 2 The fear of you and the dread of you will be on every beast of the land, and on every bird of the heavens. Everything that moves along the ground, and all the fish of the sea, are delivered into your hand. 3 Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. As I gave you the green herb, I have given everything to you. 4 But flesh with its life, that is, its blood, you will not eat. 5 I will surely require accounting for your life’s blood. At the hand of every animal I will require it. At the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, I will require the life of man. 6 Whoever sheds man’s blood, his blood will be shed by man, for Elohim made man in his own image. 7 Be fruitful and multiply. Increase abundantly in the land, and multiply in it.”

Leviticus 7:22 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘You will eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat. 24 The fat of that which dies of itself, and the fat of that which is torn of animals, may be used for any other service, but you will in no way eat of it. 25 For whoever eats the fat of the animal which men bring as an offering made by fire to YHWH, even the soul who eats it will be cut off from his people. 26 You will not eat any blood, whether it is of bird or of animal, in any of your dwellings. 27 Whoever it is who eats any blood, that soul will be cut off from his people.’ ”

Leviticus 17:10 Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood. I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life. 12 Therefore I have said to the sons of Israel, “No person among you may eat blood, nor may any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.” 13 Whatever man there is of the sons of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who takes in hunting any animal or bird that may be eaten, he will pour out its blood, and cover it with dust. 14 For as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, “You will not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it will be cut off.”

Ezekiel 33:23 the word of YHWH came to me, saying, 24 “Son of man, those who inhabit the waste places in the land of Israel speak, saying, ‘Abraham was one, and he inherited the land; but we are many. The land is given us for inheritance.’ 25 Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord YHWH says: “You eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes to your idols, and shed blood. So should you possess the land? 26 You stand on your sword, you work abomination, and every one of you defiles his neighbor’s wife. So should you possess the land?” ‘

Deuteronomy 12:13-16; Deuteronomy 15:19-23 (T)

Deuteronomy 12:13 Be careful that you don’t cause your burnt offerings to ascend in every place that you see; 14 but in the place which YHWH chooses in one of your tribes, there you will cause your burnt offerings to ascend, and there you will do all that I command you. 15 Yet you may kill and eat meat within all your gates, after all the desire of your soul, according to YHWH your Elohim’s blessing which he has given you. The unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer. 16 Only you will not eat the blood. You will pour it out on the land like water.

Deuteronomy 15:19 You will dedicate all the firstborn males that are born of your herd and of your flock to YHWH your Elohim. You will do no work with the firstborn of your herd, nor shear the firstborn of your flock. 20 You will eat it before YHWH your Elohim year by year in the place which YHWH will choose, you and your household. 21 If it has any defect—is lame or blind, or has any defect whatever, you will not slaughter it to YHWH your Elohim. 22 You will eat it within your gates. The unclean and the clean will eat it alike, as the gazelle and as the deer. 23 Only you will not eat its blood. You will pour it out on the ground like water.

1 Samuel 14:23-35 (T)

14:23 So YHWH saved Israel that day; and the battle passed over by Beth Aven. 24 The men of Israel were distressed that day; for Shaul had adjured the people, saying, “Cursed is the man who eats any food until it is evening, and I am avenged of my enemies.” So none of the people tasted food. 25 All the people came into the forest; and there was honey on the ground. 26 When the people had come to the forest, behold, honey was dripping, but no one put his hand to his mouth, for the people feared the oath. 27 But Jonathan didn’t hear when his father commanded the people with the oath. Therefore he put out the end of the rod that was in his hand and dipped it in the honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes brightened. 28 Then one of the people answered, and said, “Your father directly commanded the people with an oath, saying, ‘Cursed is the man who eats food today.’ ” So the people were faint. 29 Then Jonathan said, “My father has troubled the land. Please look how my eyes have brightened because I tasted a little of this honey. 30 How much more, if perhaps the people had eaten freely today of the plunder of their enemies which they found? For now there has been no great slaughter among the Philistines.” 31 They struck the Philistines that day from Michmash to Aijalon. The people were very faint; 32 and the people pounced on the plunder, and took sheep, cattle, and calves, and killed them on the ground; and the people ate them with the blood. 33 Then they told Saul, saying, “Behold, the people are sinning against YHWH, in that they eat meat with the blood.” He said, “You have dealt treacherously. Roll a large stone to me today!” 34 Shaul said, “Disperse yourselves among the people, and tell them, ‘Every man bring me here his ox, and every man his sheep, and kill them here, and eat; and don’t sin against YHWH in eating meat with the blood.’ ” All the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and killed them there. 35 Shaul built an altar to YHWH. This was the first altar that he built to YHWH.

Acts 15:19-21 (T)

15:19 Therefore my judgment is that we don’t trouble those from among the Nations who turn to Elohim, 20 but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from whoring, from what is strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses from generations of old has in every city those who proclaim him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.

Exodus 29:26-28 (T)

29:26 “You will take the breast of Aaron’s ram of installation, and wave it for a wave offering before YHWH. It will be your portion. 27 You will sanctify the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the wave offering, which is waved, and which is raised up, of the ram of installation, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons. 28 It will be for Aaron and his sons as their portion forever from the sons of Israel; for it is a wave offering. It will be a wave offering from the sons of Israel of the slaughters of their peace offerings, even their wave offering to YHWH.

Numbers 18:1-20 (T)

18:1 YHWH said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your fathers’ house with you will bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and you and your sons with you will bear the iniquity of your priesthood. 2 Bring your brothers also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, near with you, that they may be joined to you, and minister to you; but you and your sons with you will be before the Tent of the Testimony. 3 They will guard your commands and the duty of the whole Tent; only they will not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary and to the altar, that they not die, neither they nor you. 4 They will be joined to you and guard the responsibility of the Appointed Tent, for all the service of the Tent. A stranger will not come near to you. 5 “You will perform the duty of the sanctuary and the duty of the altar, that there be no more wrath on the sons of Israel. 6 Behold, I myself have taken your brothers the Levites from among the sons of Israel. They are a gift to you, dedicated to YHWH, to do the service of the Appointed Tent. 7 You and your sons with you will guard your priesthood for everything of the altar, and for that within the veil. You will serve. I give you the service of the priesthood as a gift. The stranger who comes near will be put to death.” 8 YHWH spoke to Aaron, “Behold, I myself have given you the command of my wave offerings, even all the holy of the sons of Israel. I have given them to you by reason of the anointing, and to your sons, as a portion forever. 9 This will be yours of the holy of holies from the fire: every offering of theirs, even every grain offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they will render to me, will be most holy for you and for your sons. 10 You will eat of it like the holy of holies. Every male will eat of it. It will be holy to you. 11 “This is yours, too: the wave offering of their gift, even all the wave offerings of the sons of Israel. I have given them to you, and to your sons and to your daughters with you, as a portion forever. Everyone who is clean in your house will eat of it. 12 “I have given to you all the best of the oil, all the best of the vintage, and of the grain, the first fruits of them which they give to YHWH. 13 The first-ripe fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to YHWH, will be yours. Everyone who is clean in your house will eat of it. 14 “Everything devoted in Israel will be yours. 15 Everything that opens the womb, of all flesh which they offer to YHWH, both of man and animal, will be yours. Nevertheless, you will surely redeem the firstborn of man, and you will redeem the firstborn of unclean animals. 16 You will redeem those who are to be redeemed of them from a new moon old, according to your estimation, for five shekels of money, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, which weighs twenty gerahs. 17 “But you will not redeem the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat. They are holy. You will sprinkle their blood on the altar, and will burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma to YHWH. 18 Their meat will be yours, as the wave offering breast and as the right thigh, it will be yours. 19 All the wave offerings of the holy which the sons of Israel offer to YHWH, I have given you and your sons and your daughters with you, as a portion forever. It is a covenant of salt forever before YHWH to you and to your seed with you.” 20 YHWH said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, neither will you have any portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the sons of Israel.

Nehemiah 10:32-39 (T, H)

10:32 Also we made ordinances for ourselves, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our Elohim: 33 for the bread of the presence, for the continual grain offering, for the continual burnt offering, for the Sabbaths, for the new moons, for the set feasts, for the holy, for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our Elohim. 34 We, the priests, the Levites, and the people, cast lots for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our Elohim, according to our fathers’ houses, at times appointed year by year, to burn on YHWH our Elohim’s altar, as it is written in the law; 35 and to bring the first fruits of our ground and the first fruits of all fruit of all kinds of trees, year by year, to the house of YHWH; 36 also the firstborn of our sons and of our livestock, as it is written in the law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our Elohim, to the priests who minister in the house of our Elohim; 37 and that we should bring the first fruits of our dough, our wave offerings, the fruit of all kinds of trees, and the new wine and the oil, to the priests, to the rooms of the house of our Elohim; and the tithes of our ground to the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all our farming villages. 38 The priest, the descendent of Aaron, will be with the Levites when the Levites take tithes. The Levites will bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our Elohim, to the rooms, into the treasure house. 39 For the sons of Israel and the children of Levi will bring the wave offering of the grain, of the new wine, and of the oil, to the rooms where the vessels of the sanctuary are, and the priests who minister, with the gatekeepers and the singers. We will not forsake the house of our Elohim.

Matthew 24:4-5; Romans 16:17-20; Ephesians 4:11-16;  Ephesians 5:1-7; 2 Timothy 4:1-5; 1 John 4:1-3 (A)

Matthew 24:4 Yeshua answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will lead many astray.

Romans 16:17 Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. 18 For those who are such don’t serve our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the innocent. 19 For your obedience has become known to all. I rejoice therefore over you. But I desire to have you wise in that which is good, but innocent in that which is evil. 20 And the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet.

Ephesians 4:11 He gave some to be emissaries; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers; 12 for the perfecting of the holy ones, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Messiah, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah, 14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error; 15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Messiah, 16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

Ephesians 5:1 Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 Walk in love, even as Messiah also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a slaughter to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance. 3 But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes holy ones; 4 nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks. 5 Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Messiah and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. 7 Therefore don’t be partakers with them.

2 Timothy 4:1 I command you therefore before God and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom: 2 proclaim the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own coveting, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn away to fables. 5 But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Yeshua the Messiah has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit who doesn’t confess that Yeshua the Messiah has come in the flesh is not of God; and this is the spirit of the Anti-messiah, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.

Jeremiah 29:8-9 (ADD)

29:8 For YHWH of Armies, the God of Israel says: “Don’t let your prophets who are among you and your diviners deceive you. Don’t listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed. 9 For they prophesy falsely to you in my name. I have not sent them,” says YHWH.

Between 1947 and 1956 approximately 15 Jubilees scrolls were found in five caves at Qumran, all written in Hebrew. The large number of manuscripts (more than for any biblical books except for Psalms, Deuteronomy, Isaiah, Exodus, and Genesis, in descending order) indicates that Jubilees was widely used at Qumran. A comparison of the Qumran texts with the Ethiopic version, performed by James VanderKam, found that the Ethiopic was in most respects an accurate and literalistic translation. Scholars have dated Jubilees to have been written sometime around 160-150 B.C.

Jubilees 21:1-20 (T)

21:1 And in the sixth year of the †seventh† week of this jubilee [2057 A.M. or 2050 A.M.] Abraham called Isaac his son, and commanded him, saying: “I am become old, and know not the day of my death, and am full of my days. 2. And behold, I am one hundred and seventy-five years old, and throughout all the days of my life I have remembered the Lord, and sought with all my heart to do His will, and to walk uprightly in all His ways. 3. My soul hath hated idols, (and I have despised those that served them, and I have given my heart and spirit) that I might observe to do the will of Him who created me. 4. For He is the living Elohim, and He is holy and faithful, and He is righteous beyond all, and there is with Him no accepting of (men’s) persons and no accepting of gifts (cf. Deuteronomy 10:7); for Elohim is righteous, and executeth judgment on all those who transgress His commandments and despise His covenant. 5. And do thou, my son, observe His commandments and His ordinances and His judgments, and walk not after the abominations and after the graven images and after the molten images. 6. And eat no blood at all of animals or cattle, or of any bird which flieth in the heavens. 7. And if thou dost slay a victim as an acceptable peace offering, slay ye it, and pour out its blood upon the altar, and all the fat of the offering offer on the altar with fine flour (and the meat offering) mingled with oil (cf. Leviticus 2:4), with its libation offering–offer them all together on the altar of burnt offering; it is a sweet savour before the Lord (cf. Leviticus 3:7-10). 8. And thou wilt offer the fat of the slaughter of thank offerings on the fire which is upon the altar, and the fat which is on the belly, and all the fat on the inwards and the two kidneys, and all the fat that is upon them, and upon the hips and liver thou shalt remove together with the kidneys (cf. Leviticus 3:9-10). 9. And offer all these for a sweet savour acceptable before the Lord, with its meat offering and with its libation offering, for a sweet savour, the bread (or food cf. Leviticus 3:11) of the offering unto the Lord, 10. And eat its meat on that day and on the second day, and let not the sun on the second day go down upon it till it is eaten, and let nothing be left over for the third day; for it is not acceptable and let it no longer be eaten, and all who eat thereof will bring sin upon themselves; for thus I have found it written in the books of my forefathers, and in the words of Enoch, and in the words of Noaḥ. 11. And on all thy oblations thou shalt strew salt, and let not the salt of the covenant be lacking in all thy oblations before the Lord (cf. Leviticus 2:13). 12. And as regards the wood of the slaughters, beware lest thou bring (other) wood for the altar in addition to these: cypress, dêfrân, sagâd, pine, fir, cedar, savin, palm, olive, myrrh, laurel, and citron, juniper, and balsam. (cf. Enoch 3:1) 13. And of these kinds of wood lay upon the altar under the slaughter, such as have been tested as to their appearance, and do not lay (thereon) any split or dark wood, (but) hard and clean, without fault, a sound and new growth; and do not lay (thereon) old wood, for there is no longer fragrance in it as before. 14. Besides these kinds of wood there is none other that thou shalt place (on the altar), for the fragrance is dispersed, and the smell of its fragrance goeth not up to the heavens. 15. Observe this commandment and do it, my son, that thou mayst be upright in all thy deeds. 16. And at all times be clean in thy body, and wash thyself with water before thou approachest to offer on the altar, and wash thy hands and thy feet before thou drawest near to the altar; and when thou art done slaughtering, wash again thy hands and thy feet (cf. Exodus 30:19-21). 17. And let no blood appear upon you nor upon your clothes; be on thy guard, my son, against blood, be on thy guard exceedingly; cover it with dust (cf. Leviticus 17:13). 18. And do not eat any blood, for it is the soul; eat no blood whatever (cf. Leviticus 17:13-14, Deuteronomy 12:23-25). 19. And take no gifts for the blood of man, lest it be shed with impunity, without judgment; for it is the blood that is shed that causeth the land to sin, and the land cannot be cleansed from the blood of man save by the blood of him who shed it (cf. Numbers 35:33). 20. And take no present or gift for the blood of man: blood for blood, that thou mayest be accepted before the Lord, the Most High Elohim; for He is the defence of the good: and that thou mayest be preserved from all evil, and that He may save thee from every kind of death…

Jubilees 6:1-38 (T)

6:1 And on the new moon of the third new moon he went forth from the ark, and built an altar on that mountain. 2. And he made atonement for the land, and took a kid and made atonement by its blood for all the guilt of the land; for everything that had been on it had been destroyed, save those that were in the ark with Noaḥ. 3. And he placed the fat thereof on the altar, and he took an ox, and a goat, and a sheep and kids, and salt, and a turtle-dove, and the young of a dove, and placed a burnt slaughter on the altar, and poured thereon an offering mingled with oil, and sprinkled wine and strewed frankincense over everything, and caused a goodly savour to arise, acceptable before the Lord. 4. And the Lord smelt the goodly savour, and He cut a covenant with him that there should not be any more a flood to destroy the land; that all the days of the land seed-time and harvest should never cease; cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night should not change their order, nor cease for ever. 5. “And you, increase ye and multiply upon the land, and become many upon it, and be a blessing upon it. The fear of you and the dread of you I will inspire in everything that is on land and in the sea. 6. And behold I have given unto you all beasts, and all winged things, and everything that moveth on the land, and the fish in the waters, and all things for food; as the green herbs, I have given you all things to eat. 7. But flesh, with the life thereof, with the blood, ye will not eat; for the life of all flesh is in the blood, lest your blood of your lives be required. At the hand of every man, at the hand of every (beast), will I require the blood of man. 8. Whoso sheddeth man’s blood by man will his blood be shed; for in the image of Elohim made He man. 9. And you, increase ye, and multiply on the land.” 10. And Noaḥ and his sons swore that they would not eat any blood that was in any flesh, and he cut a covenant before the Lord Elohim for ever throughout all the generations of the land in this new moon. 11. On this account He spake to thee that thou shouldst cut a covenant with the sons of Israel in this new moon upon the mountain with an oath, and that thou shouldst sprinkle blood upon them because of all the words of the covenant, which the Lord made with them for ever. 12. And this witness is written concerning you that you should observe it continually, so that you should not eat on any day any blood of beasts or birds or cattle during all the days of the land, and the man who eateth the blood of beast or of cattle or of birds during all the days of the land, he and his seed will be rooted out of the land. 13. And do thou command the sons of Israel to eat no blood, so that their names and their seed may be before the Lord our Elohim continually. 14. And for this law there is no limit of days, for it is for ever. They will observe it throughout their generations, so that they may continue supplicating on your behalf with blood before the altar; every day and at the time of morning and evening they will seek forgiveness on your behalf perpetually before the Lord that they may keep it and not be rooted out. 15. And He gave to Noaḥ and his sons a sign that there should not again be a flood on the land. 16. He set His bow in the cloud for a sign of the eternal covenant that there should not again be a flood on the land to destroy it all the days of the land. 17. For this reason it is ordained and written on the heavenly tables, that they should celebrate the feast of weeks in this new moon once a year, to renew the covenant every year. 18. And this whole festival was celebrated in the heavens from the day of creation till the days of Noaḥ-twenty-six jubilees and five weeks of years [1309-1659 A.M.]: and Noaḥ and his sons observed it for seven jubilees and one week of years, till the day of Noaḥ’s death, and from the day of Noaḥ’s death his sons did away with (it) until the days of Abraham, and they ate blood. 19. But Abraham observed it, and Isaac and Jacob and his children observed it up to thy days, and in thy days the sons of Israel forgot it until ye celebrated it anew on this mountain. 20. And do thou command the sons of Israel to observe this festival in all their generations for a commandment unto them: one day in the year in this new moon they will celebrate the festival. 21. For it is the feast of weeks and the feast of first fruits: this feast is twofold and of a double nature: according to what is written and engraven concerning it celebrate it. 22. For I have written in the book of the first law, in that which I have written for thee, that thou shouldst celebrate it in its season, one day in the year, and I explained to thee its slaughters that the sons of Israel should remember and should celebrate it throughout their generations in this new moon, one day in every year. 23. And on the new moon of the first new moon, and on the new moon of the fourth new moon, and on the new moon of the seventh new moon, and on the new moon of the tenth new moon are the days of remembrance, and the days of the seasons in the four divisions of the year. These are written and ordained as a witness for ever. 24. And Noaḥ ordained them for himself as feasts for the generations for ever, so that they have become thereby a memorial unto him. 25. And on the new moon of the first new moon he was bidden to make for himself an ark, and on that (day) the land became dry and he opened (the ark) and saw the land. 26. And on the new moon of the fourth new moon the mouths of the depths of the abysses beneath were closed. And on the new moon of the seventh new moon all the mouths of the abysses of the land were opened, and the waters began to descend into them. 27. And on the new moon of the tenth new moon the tops of the mountains were seen, and Noaḥ was glad. 28. And on this account he ordained them for himself as feasts for a memorial for ever, and thus are they ordained. 29. And they placed them on the heavenly tables, each had thirteen weeks; from one to another (passed) their memorial, from the first to the second, and from the second to the third, and from the third to the fourth. 30. And all the days of the commandment will be two and fifty weeks of days, and (these will make) the entire year complete. 31. Thus it is engraven and ordained on the heavenly tables. And there is no neglecting (this commandment) for a single -year or from year to year. 32. And command thou the sons of Israel that they observe the years according to this reckoning-three hundred and sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year, and they will not disturb its time from its days and from its feasts; for everything will fall out in them according to their witness, and they will not leave out any day nor disturb any feasts. 33. But if they do neglect and do not observe them according to His commandment, then they will disturb all their seasons, and the years will be dislodged from this (order), [and they will disturb the seasons and the years will be dislodged] and they will neglect their ordinances. 34. And all the sons of Israel will forget, and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the new moons, and seasons, and sabbaths, and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years. 35. For I know and from henceforth will I declare it unto thee, and it is not of my own devising; for the book (lieth) written before me, and on the heavenly tables the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant and walk according to the feasts of the Nations after their error and after their ignorance. 36. For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon–now (it) disturbeth the seasons and cometh in from year to year ten days too soon. 37. For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb (the order), and make an abominable (day) the day of witness, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean, and the unclean day with the holy; for they will go wrong as to the new moons and sabbaths and feasts and jubilees. 38. For this reason I command and testify to thee that thou mayest testify to them; for after thy death thy children will disturb (them), so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixty-four days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the new moons and seasons and sabbaths and festivals, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh.

Jubilees 7:1-5 (T)

7:1 And in the seventh week in the first year [1317 A.M.] thereof, in this jubilee, Noaḥ planted vines on the mountain on which the ark had rested, named Lubar, one of the Ararat Mountains, and they produced fruit in the fourth year, [1320 A.M.] and he guarded their fruit, and gathered it in this year in the seventh new moon. 2. And he made wine therefrom and put it into a vessel, and kept it until the fifth year, [1321 A.M.] until the first day, on the new moon of the first new moon. 3. And he celebrated with joy the day of this feast, and he made a burnt slaughter unto the Lord, one young ox and one ram, and seven sheep, each a year old, and a kid of the goats, that he might make atonement thereby for himself and his sons. 4. And he prepared the kid first, and placed some of its blood on the flesh that was on the altar which he had made, and all the fat he laid on the altar where he made the burnt slaughter, and the ox and the ram and the sheep, and he laid all their flesh upon the altar. 5. And he placed all their offerings mingled with oil upon it, and afterwards he sprinkled wine on the fire which he had previously made on the altar, and he placed incense on the altar and caused a sweet savour to ascend acceptable before the Lord his Elohim.

Jubilees 11:1-2 (T)

11:1 And in the thirty-fifth jubilee, in the third week, in the first year thereof, [1681 A.M.] Reu took to himself a woman, and her name was ‘Ôrâ, the daughter of ‘Ûr, the son of Kêsêd, and she bare him a son, and he called his name Sêrôḫ, in the seventh year of this week in this jubilee. [1687 A.M.] 2. And the sons of Noaḥ began to war on each other, to take captive and to slay each other, and to shed the blood of men on the land, and to eat blood, and to build strong cities, and walls, and towers, and individuals (began) to exalt themselves above the nation, and to found the beginnings of reigns, and to go to war people against people, and nation against nation, and city against city, and all (began) to do evil, and to acquire arms, and to teach their sons war, and they began to capture cities, and to sell male and female slaves.

Leviticus 6:12 – 7:38 from the Jerusalem Targum aka Targum Pseudo-Jonathan (T)
Composed in Talmudic Israel (c.150 – c.250 AD). Targum Pseudo-Jonathan is a western targum (translation) of the Torah (Pentateuch) from the land of Israel (as opposed to the eastern Babylonian Targum Onkelos). Its correct title was originally Targum Yerushalmi (Jerusalem Targum), which is how it was known in medieval times. But because of a printer’s mistake it was later labeled Targum Jonathan, in reference to Jonathan ben Uzziel. Some editions of the Pentateuch continue to call it Targum Jonathan to this day. Most scholars refer to the text as Targum Pseudo-Jonathan. This targum is more than a mere translation. It includes much Aggadic material collected from various sources as late as the Midrash Rabbah as well as earlier material from the Talmud. It is effectively a combination of a commentary and a translation. In the portions where it is pure translation, it often agrees with the Targum Onkelos. The date of its composition is disputed. It cannot have been completed before the Arabic conquest as it refers to Mohammad’s wife Fatimah, but might have been initially composed in the 4th Century AD. However, some scholars date it in the 14th Century.

Chapter 6 …But the fire upon the altar will burn upon it unextinguished, and the priest will lay wood upon it from morning to morning, at four hours of the day, and will set in order the burnt offering upon it, and burn upon it the fat of the sanctified oblations. The fire will be ever burning upon the altar; it will never be extinguished.

And this is the law of the Mincha, which the priests, the sons of Aharon, will offer in the presence of the Lord before the altar. And he will separate his handful of the flour of the mincha, of the best thereof, with all the frankincense which is upon the mincha, and burn it at the altar to be received with favour, as a memorial of praise before the Lord. And that which remaineth of it will Aharon and his sons eat; unleavened will they eat it in the holy place, in the court of the tabernacle of ordinance will they eat it. Their portion of the residue of the mincha of My oblations given to them will not be baked with leaven; it is most sacred, as the sin offering and as the trespass offering. Every man of the sons of Aharon may eat of it. This is an everlasting statute for your generations concerning the oblations of the Lord: everyone who toucheth them must be sanctified.

And the Lord spake with Mosheh, saying: This is the oblation of Aharon and of his sons, which they are to offer before the Lord on the day that they anoint him, that he may possess the inheritance of the high priesthood. A tenth of three seahs of fine flour for a mincha, one half in the morning and a half at eventide. Thou shalt make it upon a pan, mixed with olive oil shalt thou offer it; in divided pieces shalt thou offer the mincha, to be received with acceptance before the Lord, [JERUSALEM. Fried shalt thou offer it; broken in pieces shalt thou offer the mincha, a sweet savour of acceptableness unto the Name of the Lord.] And the high priest who is anointed with oil, (and also when (any one) of his sons who are constituted priests (is consecrated) in his place) will perform this: it is an everlasting statute before the Lord: the whole will be set in order and burned. For every mincha of the priest will be wholly set in order and consumed: it will not be eaten.

And the Lord spake with Mosheh, saying: Speak with Aharon and with his sons, saying: This is the law of the sin offering which is to be killed in the place where the burnt offering is killed; it will be slain as a sin offering before the Lord; it is most sacred. The priest who maketh atonement with blood may eat of it in the holy place; it will be eaten in the court of the tabernacle of ordinance; whosoever toucheth the flesh of it must be sanctified. And if any one let some of its blood fall upon a garment, (the garment so) bedropped will be washed in the holy place. And every vessel of clay in which (the flesh of it) is boiled will be broken, lest that which is common be boiled in it; or if it be boiled in a vessel of brass, it will be scoured with potter’s earth and washed in waters. Every man of the priests may eat thereof; it is most sacred. But no sin offering whose blood is carried into the tabernacle of ordinance to make atonement in the sanctuary may be eaten; it must be burned with fire.

Chapter 7 And this is the law of the Trespass Offering; it is most holy. In the place where they kill the burnt slaughter they will kill the trespass offering, and the blood thereof will he sprinkle upon the altar round about. And he will offer all the fat thereof, and the tail, and the fat which covereth the inwards; and the two kidneys, and the fat which is upon them, and upon the inwards. And the caul that is upon the liver upon the kidneys will he take away; and the priest will burn them at the altar, an oblation before the Lord: it is a trespass offering. Every man of the priests may eat of it, in the holy place will it be eaten it is most sacred. As the rite of the sin offering, so is the rite of the trespass; there is one law for them: the priest who maketh atonement with its blood will have it. And when the priest offereth another man’s burnt slaughter, the skin of the burnt slaughter which he offereth will be the priest’s. And every mincha which is baked in the oven, and every one that is made in a pot, or in a frying pan, or upon a dish, the priest who offereth it will have it for his own. And every mincha mixed with oil, or which is dry, will be for any of the sons of Aharon, a man as his brother.

And this is the law of the Sanctified Victims which they may offer before the Lord. If he offer it for a thanksgiving let him offer with the oblation of thanks unleavened cakes mingled with olive oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with olive oil, and flour fried with a mixture of olive oil. [JERUSALEM. One rule.] Upon the cakes he will offer his oblation of leavened bread with the hallowed slaughter of thanksgiving. And of it he will present one as a separation before the Lord; the priest who sprinkleth the blood of the hallowed slaughter will have it. And the flesh of his hallowed slaughter of thanksgiving will be eaten on the day when it is offered; none of it may be laid up (or covered up) until the morning.

But if his hallowed slaughter be a vow or a free‑will gift, the slaughter may be (partly) eaten on the day when it is offered, and the remainder may be eaten on the day following at evening. And what remaineth of the flesh of the hallowed slaughter on the third day will be burned in fire. If, eating, he will eat of the flesh of his hallowed slaughter on the third day, it will not be accepted of him who offered it, nor reckoned to him for righteousness; it will be a profane thing, [JERUSALEM. It will be a profane thing,] and the man who eateth of it will bear his sin. And if the flesh of things hallowed touch any uncleanness, it must not be eaten, but be burned in fire; but (as to) flesh that is consecrated, every one who is clean by sanctification may eat the hallowed flesh. But the man who eateth of the flesh of the hallowed slaughter that is offered before the Lord with his uncleanness upon him, that man. will be destroyed from among his people. The man also who toucheth any unclean thing, whether the uncleanness of man, or of unclean beasts, or any unclean reptile, and eateth of the flesh of the hallowed slaughters offered before the Lord, that man will be cut off from his people.

And the Lord spake with Mosheh, saying: Speak with the sons of Israel, saying: You may not eat any fat of oxen, or sheep, or goats; but the fat of an animal which corrupteth in the hour of slaughter, or which dieth a dead thing by death, or the fat of a beast that is torn, may be used in any work; but the fat of an animal that is in a right (condition) will be burned upon the altar, and will in no wise be eaten. For he who eateth (the fat) of an animal that is fit to be offered as an oblation before the Lord, that man who eateth the fat will be cut off from his people. In none of your dwellings will you eat the blood whether of bird or of beast. Every man who eateth the blood of any living thing, that man will be cut off from his people.

And the Lord spake with Mosheh, saying: Speak with the sons of Aharon, saying: Whosoever presenteth his hallowed slaughter before the Lord, will himself bring the oblation of his hallowed slaughter unto the presence of the Lord. His hands will bring the oblations of the Lord which he would set apart as his hallowed slaughter, the fat, the fatness that is upon the breast, and the breast cut out with two ribs here and two ribs there at the top, will be bring to be uplifted, an elevation before the Lord. [JERUSALEM. His own hands will bring in the oblation of the Lord: the fat which is upon the breast he will give it, and the breast, to wave it a wave offering before the Lord.] And the priest will burn the fat upon the altar, and the breast will be for Aharon and for his sons. [JERUSALEM. The breast.] And the right shoulder of your hallowed slaughter from the side unto the extremity (deroa, arm) you will give as a separation unto the priest. He of the sons of Aharon who offereth the blood and the fat of the hallowed slaughter will have the right shoulder as his portion. For the uplifted breast and the shoulder of separation have I taken of your hallowed slaughter, and given them to Aharon the priest and to his sons by an everlasting statute, from the sons of Israel. This pertaineth to the consecration of Aharon a to the consecration of his sons over all the Levites their brethren, that they may eat of the Lord’s oblations in the day that they present them to minister before the Lord; which the Lord commanded to be given them in the day of their consecration from among the sons of Israel, by an everlasting statute to your generations.

This is the law of the burnt offering which is brought to atone for the thoughts of the heart; of the mincha, of the sin offering, of the trespass offering, and of the peace offering, or the hallowed slaughters which the Lord commanded Mosheh in Mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the sons of Israel to offer their oblations before the Lord in the tabernacle that he made unto him in the wilderness of Sinai.
